TIME AND SPACE

Less than one week left to experience ARTECHOUSE Houston’s inaugural exhibit Time and Space!

From Thursday May 8 through Monday May 12 visit ARTECHOUSE Houston for just $10 per ticket. Enjoy drink specials all weekend long at the ARTECHOUSE XR Bar.

Three unique artistic experiences all reveal our universe through the latest in experiential storytelling. Coming to life across 26,000 square feet of immersive, interactive, and cinematic installations, you will get a chance to discover:

BEYOND THE LIGHT, an Award-winning ARTECHOUSE Studio original production in collaboration with NASA. Using the latest images from the James Webb Space and Hubble Space Telescopes, “Beyond the Light” is a thrilling interstellar journey into the deepest reaches of the cosmos across 8 immersive or interactive installations.

INTANGIBLE FORMS, Japanese multimedia artist Shohei Fujimoto employs choreographed lasers, strobes and moving lights to explore the universal connections between living beings and their realities. Each piece from the exhibit offers you the chance to contemplate what it means to be human amid chaos and order. **Please note that this exhibition features lasers, strobes, and water-based haze effects and is not recommended for those with a history of light sensitivity.

ETERNAL LIFE, created by ARTECHOUSE Studio in collaboration with the Nobel Prize Museum, this installation explores existence through Nobel Prize-winning works such as the celestial orbits and the revolutionary CRISPR/Cas9 gene-editing technology.

Join us in the lobby of ARTECHOUSE Houston at the XR Bar where drinks comes to life with extended reality activations.

Shohei Fujimoto

Intangible Forms

Shohei Fujimoto is a Japanese multi-media artist who explores perception and space through the minimal and precise use of controlled light from laser projectors.

Light, time, and autonomy are recurring motifs that travelled throughout Intangible Forms and coded operations serve as a building block for Fujimoto’s process of exploration. Often, he refers to code and the mathematical operations as the invisible markers that create form. Sculpting imagery not in a particular shape, but sculpting the mathematical operations behind the image to give shape. Both intricate and alluring, Fujimoto’s works are prime examples for a new way of drawing and creating visual artworks.
