As a Deputy Director of Digital Storytelling you will be responsible for driving the evolution of our brand positioning, community engagement and developing and implementing an innovative marketing and communications approach that effectively attracts and retains a diverse audience, reaching across digital and traditional platforms – social, website, newsletter, mobile app and beyond. To be successful you will excel as a content curator and digital storyteller by creating meaningful content focused around our exhibitions, educational initiatives and innovations within art + tech space.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Storytelling: Lead development of content while ensuring mission alignment. 

  • Make storytelling a core part of our content strategy, crafting cohesive messaging to communicate across all channels.
  • Create the strategy and implementation of how digital content integrates into the overall marketing and day to day communications.
  • Collaborate with the Curatorial Team on how exhibit content is integrated across digital channels.
  • Collaborate with the Founders to ensure the digital content aligns with the brand and company vision.
  • Act as thought leader developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Serve as expert and editor for all digital content to ensure quality, clarity, consistency, high standards and adherence to brand voice and our mission.

Audience Development:

  • Define core audience, build the platforms and create multi-platform content to engage on the website, social media channels, advertising campaigns, emails, surveys, videos, etc.
  • Develop full scope digital marketing plans to drive fan engagement across all online platforms and an overall digital creative vision.
  • Create a deeply audience-centric approach to content marketing.
  • Define and implement a fan engagement and social influencer strategy.
  • Actively engage community and participate in relevant, cultural conversations.

User Acquisition: Oversee a top-of-funnel, multi-channel digital acquisition strategy and execution plan (paid media, partnerships, display, etc.) that maximizes user acquisition, drives sales, and generates ticket sales across platforms (social/mobile, web).

  • Identify trends and key insights continually improving user acquisition, conversion and engagement rates.
  • Proactively identify marketing opportunities and challenges while offering strategic solutions.

Engagement & User Retention: Drive strategy and execution of lifecycle marketing to onboard, retain, build loyalty to increase the lifetime value of the audience and improve customer journey (building a customer segmentation framework, developing roadmap for scalable CRM solution, etc).

  • Develop and execute a strategic communications plan supporting long-term community engagement strategies.
  • Collaborate across teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience across solutions and channels.
  • Craft and execute strategy to expand audience engagement, audience profiling and growth potential.
  • Analyze app for positioning, consumer journey, etc. and suggest updates to enhance the experience.

Digital Marketing/Website/Newsletters/Journal

  • Oversee the strategy, creation and growth of digital content, media platforms and communities.
  • Lead social media, content development, streaming marketing, digital advertising & CRM campaigns. Continually educate on current social trends/innovations.
  • Develop workflows/frameworks/templates/roadmaps to ensure efficiencies.
  • Establish and lead digital partnerships to further ATH objectives.
  • Drive continuous innovation in digital marketing, including testing methodology, measurement, creative, marketing automation tools.
  • Oversee website maintenance and future refreshes (with developers), ensuring all content is up-to date and accurate.
  • Oversee the production & publishing of monthly/weekly newsletters.
  • Campaigns: Develop & execute 360-degree cross-platform campaigns.
  • Engage and manage content producers and freelancers (photographers, videographers, writers, etc).

Social

  • Develop platform-specific strategies – content, cadence, engagement, “creative innovation” ideas, and assets. Regularly analyze and adapt.
  • Oversee Social Media Specialist helping to set best practices across all social channels, brand messaging & tone, content creation.
  • Launch “creative innovation” programs and campaigns.

CORE QUALIFICATIONS + SKILLS

  • BA/BS or MA degree in journalism, marketing, digital marketing or related field

We are is seeking to hire a Social Media & Digital Specialist to join our growing Marketing team. This position will be similar to a community manager.  You will be the ‘voice’ of ARTECHOUSE (ATH) community and play a key role in communicating the vision and mission of our innovative brand to our fans  – commenting as the brand, tweeting, messaging on social media, broadcasting, and engaging with our followers. 

POSITION SUMMARY

In this role you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of ARTECHOUSE’s digital communication and community development across social media and business listing platforms. You will work within the Digital Marketing team putting our content out to the world, engaging with all social channels.  Under the supervision and support of the manager, you will serve as the primary front-line communications making our audience experiences memorable online. 

In addition to the primary responsibilities, this role will be a part of a larger team working together to promote ARTECHOUSE locally and internationally.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

Social media is an ever-changing field, so although you will have some routine responsibilities, your role is going to require you to adapt slightly every now and then. However, this list should give you a good idea of what your day-to-day obligations will be:

  • Implement ARTECHOUSE’s social media strategy across all digital platforms to boost engagement, visibility and visitations.
  • Maintain a cohesive social media brand voice across social channels by creating and posting content that delivers on our mission to inspire, educate and empower – on sites including (but not limited to): Facebook, Google, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, Snapchat, and TikTok through both proactive and reactive content – guidance from Manager when needed.
  • Manage day-to-day social listening across social platforms including engaging reactively and proactively on behalf of ATH with the online community ensuring brand voice and timely and high level responsiveness to comments and requests is maintained consistently.
  • Work with Marketing/Production/PR to develop and implement an escalation process for priority posts as well as build a plan for crisis management across social channels.
  • Maintain social media dashboard and corresponding reporting; track metrics and analyze efficacy of campaigns or goals.
  • Prepare social data and post insights to be utilized by the Marketing team in monthly/weekly reports – Share insights from the community to help inform the team’s strategic, creative and paid decision-making.
  • End-to-end management of digital ad buys on platforms (not limited to) Facebook, Instagram, Google/YouTube and TikTok, from the planning, execution and performance analysis stages.
  • Monitor and analyze social media trends, hashtags, influencer engagement, emerging technology and current events to seek out and spearhead opportunities to engage with popular conversations; leading efforts within the team to produce real time content
    • Identify & build ATH’s base of social influencers; engage and amplify brand messaging
    • Create & maintain master list of business and cultural moments and initiatives

  • Develop and execute daily/weekly/monthly content schedule and maintain social media calendar across all relevant platforms and channels.

  • Manage digital business listings on TripAdvisor, Yelp, Google Business (and others as added), maintaining a cohesive presence across listings, ensuring listings are up to date with the latest assets, exhibit information, operational updates and post updates
  • Manage day-to-day digital marketing activities including website maintenance, content updates, data management, and email marketing.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments on incorporating relevant social media techniques, particularly with our augmented reality application.
  • Additional projects as assigned.

The Administrative Business Partner is a unique and challenging position. It takes a diverse set of skills – and an amazing individual – to really thrive in the role. Proven organizational and project management skills are a must as you will be providing a broad range of sophisticated administrative and executive assistant duties for the Executive Team as well as managing the day to day Office Management of the Washington, DC office. You will be one of the few people who interacts with employees at every level and within every department virtually every day!

Support for Executive Suite

  • Manage and support the Executive team members’ complex calendars using Google Calendar through vetting, prioritizing, and providing recommendations
  • Help ensure the executive team member is properly prepared and on time for all meetings. Assist with the scheduling of multiple stakeholder meetings.

Administrative Business Partner Washington, DC

FULL TIME

ARTECHOUSE is looking for a detail-oriented Scenic CAD Drafter to join our Production team. You will be creating technical drawings for exhibition programs, venues, and other structures from architects’ sketches (and/or verbal communication), incorporating exact measurements and codes, and entering data to generate both 2D drawings and 3D design models.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Develop piping isometric drawings, incorporating engineering design changes/revisions to existing and newly populated CAD drawings, updating and maintaining parts libraries.
  • Develop appropriate detail level design drawings and specifications for scenic design, various A/V and lighting equipment installation, and other design details required for the load in using CAD.
  • Complete on-site measurements and utilize design related computer programs including AutoDesk’s Architecture, Engineering, & Construction collection.
  • Develop and edit CAD drawings for newly acquired facilities, and improve existing facility documentation.
  • Prepare drawings, charts, and records with CAD software and conventional drafting techniques.
  • Visiting locations and external sites as assigned to perform measurements and calculate dimensions as needed.
  • Collaborate with the producers, designers, external architects and engineers to ensure adherence to building specifications and industry regulations.
  • Keep abreast of the latest developments and technologies in relevant technique and design.

WHO YOU ARE

To be successful as a scenic draftsman you should possess excellent knowledge of CAD software (AutoCAD), and the ability to apply the fundamentals of sketching and design. A top-notch CAD draftsperson will be someone whose drafting expertise contributes to structurally sound and aesthetically pleasing spatial and scenic designs dreamed up by the production team.

  • BS/BA or Associate’s degree or equivalent experience
  • American Design Drafting Association (ADDA) certification preferred

Scenic CAD Drafter New York City /Miami Beach

FULL TIME

ARTECHOUSE is seeking a Senior Producer – Venue Lead, to play a vital role in our growth vision. This position is a unique combination of project management and strong foundation in architectural engineering; involved from conception to final installation and opening, ensuring solid operational openings of each new location around the nation and beyond.

In addition to the primary responsibilities, this role will be a part of a larger ARTECHOUSE team working together to promote ARTECHOUSE locally and internationally.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare strategic execution plans for each site (surveys etc) working directly with the executive team, engineers, and other producers to achieve project goals.
  • Manage and oversee full scope project budgets including; HVAC, daily ops, surface treatments, equipment, acoustics, travel, contractors, vendors, artists, etc.
  • Coordinate the construction, infrastructure engineering, local certifications, and other vendor coordinations to bring the location to realization.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads & Creative Team to ensure the new venue is equipped with the appropriate rigging, power, surfaces, temperature, etc. to operate the exhibits.
  • Partner with the Production Team to develop plans, technical drawings, and system diagrams.
  • Create and monitor buildout schedules.
  • Work with location managers to ensure all facility and infrastructure requirements are met to support the exhibition.
  • Act as the points person for producers and directors.
  • Oversee all technical drawings being produced/received during venue buildout.
  • Ensure that there is a solid logistics plan for any freight, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory list, and installation plans in collaboration with the producer in charge of the exhibit.
  • Network, recruit, build, and manage relations needed to get the venue opened on schedule with all requirements needed. 
  • Oversee recap and reconcile projects after completion of the event.

 

WHO YOU ARE

  • This role requires solid strategic planning, budgeting, scheduling, contracting negotiating operational foresight and a sharp mind to problem solve/troubleshoot, providing hands-on assistance when appropriate, working across diverse project needs.
  • Must bring financial project management experience and the ability to manage resource time to budget expectations.
  • Excellent understanding of each phase of building out a new venue. A plus if you have a good knowledge of large venue A/V technology and server rooms.  
  • Good understanding of spatial design, fabrication, logistics, integration, onsite installation involving a specialized crew, and risk analysis skills with a good eye for aesthetics.

  • 7+ years of experience of both hands-on architectural engineer and project management roles in a fast-paced creative and engineering minded environment.
  • BS/MS in Architecture Engineering highly preferred.
  • Experience managing opening a new buildout for public experience (i.e. gallery, sports, or entertainment) with both in-house and external teams, is a must.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills.
  • Thrives in a fast-paced complicated organization managing multiple projects at a time.
  • Solution-oriented and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.
  • Strong team player able to work with people of many different backgrounds and perspectives.

Senior Producer – Venue Lead Washington, DC /New York City

FULL TIME

ARTECHOUSE is seeking an impressive Visual Communications Designer with motion graphics chops who understands the nuances of successful branding for an edgy and creative company to produce the visual design supporting our multimedia output as well as ensuring unified brand presence across online and offline channels. 

In this role you will work collaboratively with the Creative Director and Digital Strategy team to create B2C and B2B marketing collateral ranging from various presentation decks and on-site signage, infographics, to motion graphics, and beyond. You will design and oversee layouts of various visual templates used across the company, PR assets including brochures and posters, data visualization, user interfaces, and other creative visual designs that engage internal and external stakeholders.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Maintain & achieve unified branding of marketing and presentation assets across channels.
  • Create print and digital assets for projects that include brand identity, visual identity systems, brand standards, and print applications.
  • Execute the visual brand strategy across visitor touch points; including promotional materials, visual communications, eCommerce, and social media (packaging for merch in the near future). 
  • Design collateral for B2B materials such as presentations and landing pages.
  • Support digital video production with design elements where needed.

  • 5+ years of relevant experience.

  • Motion Graphics and/or illustration experience a major plus – Working knowledge of After Effects to produce gif level (or beyond utilizing C4D).

ARTECHOUSE is seeking a Senior Producer – Venue Lead, to play a vital role in our growth vision. This position is a unique combination of project management and strong foundation in architectural engineering; involved from conception to final installation and opening, ensuring solid operational openings of each new location around the nation and beyond.

In addition to the primary responsibilities, this role will be a part of a larger ARTECHOUSE team working together to promote ARTECHOUSE locally and internationally.

 

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare strategic execution plans for each site (surveys etc) working directly with the executive team, engineers, and other producers to achieve project goals.
  • Manage and oversee full scope project budgets including; HVAC, daily ops, surface treatments, equipment, acoustics, travel, contractors, vendors, artists, etc.
  • Coordinate the construction, infrastructure engineering, local certifications, and other vendor coordinations to bring the location to realization.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads & Creative Team to ensure the new venue is equipped with the appropriate rigging, power, surfaces, temperature, etc. to operate the exhibits.
  • Partner with the Production Team to develop plans, technical drawings, and system diagrams.
  • Create and monitor buildout schedules.
  • Work with location managers to ensure all facility and infrastructure requirements are met to support the exhibition.
  • Act as the points person for producers and directors.
  • Oversee all technical drawings being produced/received during venue buildout.
  • Ensure that there is a solid logistics plan for any freight, packing, shipping, receiving, inventory list, and installation plans in collaboration with the producer in charge of the exhibit.
  • Network, recruit, build, and manage relations needed to get the venue opened on schedule with all requirements needed. 
  • Oversee recap and reconcile projects after completion of the event.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES 

  • Prepare strategic execution plans for each site (surveys etc) working directly with the executive team, engineers, and other producers to achieve project goals.
  • Manage and oversee full scope project budgets including; HVAC, daily ops, surface treatments, equipment, acoustics, travel, contractors, vendors, artists, etc.
  • Coordinate the construction, infrastructure engineering, local certifications, and other vendor coordinations to bring the location to realization.
  • Collaborate with Technical Leads & Creative Team to ensure the new venue is equipped with the appropriate rigging, power, surfaces, temperature, etc. to operate the exhibits.
  • Partner with the Production Team to develop plans, technical drawings, and system diagrams.

You will be creating technical drawings for exhibition programs, venues, and other structures from architects’ sketches (and/or verbal communication), incorporating exact measurements and codes, and entering data to generate both 2D drawings and 3D design models.
